MY SERVICES
How I can help
I offer a range of safeguarding, advocacy, and consultancy services, designed to help care providers, charities, local authorities, and families deliver and access safe, person-centred, rights-based care.
Every service is tailored because no two people or organisations are the same. Whether you are looking to improve practice, meet regulatory standards, or protect a loved one, I will work with you to find the right approach.
Training & Consultancy
For teams, managers, volunteers and professionals across health, social care and the voluntary sector.
With over two decades of experience in adult safeguarding, mental capacity, and human rights-based care, I deliver impactful, engaging training that gives people the tools and confidence they need to protect others and themselves.
Training includes:
Available in-person and via Zoom.
Every course is bespoke to your organisation, roles and sector, from front-line staff to leadership teams. I also offer one-to-one coaching for social workers and safeguarding leads, to help embed knowledge into real practice.
Safeguarding Audits
For charities, local authorities, housing associations, mental health services, and care providers.
I carry out independent, objective safeguarding audits that help you understand what’s working and what needs improving across your services, policies and culture.
Audits are tailored to your size and sector, and always carried out intending to be a critical friend, not a box-ticker. My approach is grounded in up-to-date legislation, good practice, and experience from leading quality and safeguarding across national organisations.
I’ve audited services across the UK, from Mind branches to smaller community providers helping them build safer, more transparent support systems.
Ask about a Bronze, Silver, or Gold-tier audit to suit your needs and resources.
Family Advocacy
For families who have a loved one in care, a nursing home, or supported accommodation.
Navigating the care system can be overwhelming, especially if you are worried your loved one isn’t getting the care or respect they deserve.
I offer independent advocacy, advice and support to help you:
I specialise in supporting families whose relatives are living with dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, and physical or sensory impairments.
You don’t need to do this alone. I’ll be your advocate, advisor and guide so that your loved one stays safe, heard and respected.
Podcasting, Reels & Public Speaking
I’m passionate about raising awareness and making safeguarding more accessible.
I’m currently developing a podcast and live Q&A content to answer real questions from families and professionals.
I also speak at events and deliver talks on:
If you would like me to speak to your team, at your conference or feature on your podcast, I’d love to hear from you.
