Safeguarding Audits
I carry out comprehensive, evidence-based safeguarding audits tailored to your organisation. Whether you’re a mental health charity, a local authority, or a residential care provider.
Audits include a detailed review your safeguarding strategy, policies, procedures and guidance to ensure they are focussed on meeting the aims of safeguarding. It reviews how effectiveness systems are in place to embed these standards and what evidence you have that demonstrates you are meeting these aims.
Desktop reviews include a review of documents and case files coupled with a site visit to meet with staff, volunteers, trustees, managers and service users.
For those services that are CQC registered, it will also include how the overall quality assurance for the services communicate standards, review practice, and demonstrate how they continually learn and improve for their services.
